Aside from writing music to picture, Taras is also heavily involved in Pop / Rock / EDM Music Production, working with a large number of signed pop artists such as Reuben Cannon (Nick Cannon's younger brother) and Marie Parie, to name a few. Under his production company, Double Flat Production, many of his tracks have been produced into Music Videos and also have made their way into the soundtracks of various films.

Born in Kiev, Ukraine, Taras is also well versed in folk musical genres. Often his music is influenced by Eastern European melodies and passages giving his music a raw and solid original sound. In addition to composing, he is also fluent in the performance of various instruments, ranging from piano, guitar to percussion. He has performed in numerous rock/pop bands, and has recorded three rock albums as well as participated in various pop collaborations and demos. Having lived in New York for twenty years, Taras has had numerous performances at such venues as the Knitting Factory and at the legendary CBGBs.

Taras' music has also been performed by many Orchestras such as the LA Union Players, the American Academy of Conducting at Aspen Orchestra, the Da Capo Quintet, and the American Symphony Orchestra for which he received the 'Jacob Druckman Prize' for Excellence and Innovation in Music Composition.
